Once armed, any movement of a Scout fitted Bike will trigger the motion-sensitive audio alarm discouraging any further movement and alerting the bike’s owner, both by the sound of the alarm and via a notification that is automatically sent to the owner’s iPhone (when in Bluetooth range).
Then in a scenario where a bike fitted with Scout is not where the owner has left it, it can be quickly located using Apple’s network via the ‘Find My’ app.

It’s a worthwhile theft deterrent. Connected seamlessly and quickly causing me no stress. Now I have extra peace of mind. After having three bikes in a row stolen during Covid, I have been using trackers, but it’s a great touch to have the alarm included so I can hopefully prevent the theft.
I would love to see further development of the exact same system shaped so that it would mount where the headset and fork stem cap is screwed down. This would make it easier for the owner to access for charging or activation/deactivation. Even though your current design appears to be quite rugged this other mounting design will also allow it to stay cleaner, and further away from the mud, muck, and puddles that are unavoidable when biking for transportation!

It is very good. For 5 stars, I‘m missing the option to turn on and off with an Apple or a Garnin watch.
Good concept but needs more work on functions and better customer service. If phone allows alerts it continually beeps when in/out of Bluetooth range, ie: when bikes in garage or shed. If notifications turned off, phone doesn’t alert when alarm activated.
Hi Tom, we're glad you like the concept. With regard to notifications, there's been a recent app update whereby you can manage the type of notifications you receive - which will solve your frustration! So please ensure you're running the latest version of the app, then when the apps open, click on the Settings icon, and select the notificaitons you want on / off.

Brilliant bit of kit. Simple to set up IF you read the instructions, or have used other Knog BT devices.
Next level would be autoarm/autodisarm based on phone proximity or NFC.
Anyway - stellar stuff.
