Intellectual Property
At Knog we obsess over quality of our products that we provide our valued distributors, retailers and most importantly our loyal customers. We do this by combining our unique design philosophy with our commitment to protecting the integrity of our branding and design by securing registered trademarks, designs and patents worldwide.
Knog is a market leader in designing innovative and stylish products for cyclists, campers, hikers and outdoors enthusiasts. Our range of bike and outdoor accessories includes bicycle lights, locks, tools and bells, flashlights, powerbanks, camping lanterns, bluetooth speakers and headlamps. Our products stand out from the crowd and are unique in shape and design. We love our products and we think that you do too, many of our products have won industry awards for their very marketable designs. Rest assured, when you buy a Knog product, you are getting an original work of art, not something cheap and nasty.
This is why we go to the trouble to protect the creative effort that goes into each and every one of our products – through patent, trademark, and design protection. Our patents protect the innovation and inventiveness that go into our products. Our designs protect the unique appearance of our products. Our trademarks help you to identify the real Knog products from the “Knog-offs”. Of course, a lot of our material is also protected by international copyright laws. So if you want to copy, reproduce, communicate, broadcast or otherwise use anything on this website, be it some text, a picture, a movie, programming code, database, artwork, layout, design or font, you must get our permission in writing first.
BEWARE OF INFERIOR IMITATIONS
In recent times, we have become aware of a growing number of Knog fakes being manufactured in and emanating from China. These copy products are typically inferior; use poor quality materials and provide substandard performance. As a result, Knog has put multiple strategies in place to identify and shut-down these Chinese manufacturers, including targeted cease and desist actions and takedown services targeted directly at online resellers and factories in an effort to stamp out these cheap copies. These strategies have been successful to date resulting in thousands of resellers ceasing to import these imitations.
