Blinder 900 & Mid Cobber Rear Bike Light Set
Lumens are a measure of the total amount of visible light from a light source. The higher the lumen rating the “brighter” the light will appear. Lux is a similar method to measure light across a surface area that is often used in European markets.
A brilliant choice for road cyclists who demand the very best in performance and safety - with the Cobber being the world's only rear light with a 330 degree beam. Add to this, long runtimes, carefully considered beam angles, powerful light output and multiple mounting options – the Blinder 900 & Mid Cobber rear combo delivers on all fronts, while greatly improving your confidence on the road.

Blinder 900 & Mid Cobber Rear Bike Light Set
Several other reviews for the blinder complain about it coming free of its mount and falling off the bike. I don’t think that’s a problem when used correctly, but the mount is still poorly designed because it takes a lot of force to get the light to fully click in, and creates the illusion that it is fully mounted before it actually is. So while technically user error, it’s a mistake that is enabled by poor design. The light itself is quite good, probably the best reasonably priced USB-C front light out there today.
Similar issue with the cobber: I love the angle of view and that’s the most important thing with a rear light but the mount itself is quite flimsy and fiddly Charging via the built-in USB a connector, which worked brilliantly on other smaller rear lights, is clumsy with this one because of the overall bulk and curvature. Pretty much requires an external tether cable anyway which defeats the purpose.
Credit where is due though to Knog For leading the way on embracing a charging standard that the bike light industry should have shifted to almost a decade ago
The back light just keep switching off even when fully charged, so you end up riding with no back light. Front light, just does not stay mounted. We had difficult at first getting is to click properly but worked that out, but hit a big bump and it just falls off. Today the light flew off and after 15 minutes of trying find where it landed gave up. So money down the drain, which is probably where it ended up. Too expensive and ended up very disappointed.
Great light! Never disappoints. Hope the batterylife will increase during next generations for even more fun.
