My boyfriend loves it, it's very bright, and it has two settings! One is the skull, but it can be a solid square light.
They are easy to charge, mount in the bike, reliable. Only thing to comment on is that I like the old mounting system better. In the current one, if it is not properly adjusted, the light falls and gets lost. It has happened twice to me with the rear light
The light feels solid and works well. While the plastic extension holding the USB charging conductors may look flimsy, the connection is solid and has a bit of flex too. It wouldn't easily break simply from dropping it, although it probably would if you accidentally stepped on it. Also because of this design, this light sits most securely when mounted on the seatpost. Even with the smallest band provided, if you try to mount the light onto a seatstay it doesn't grip as tightly and will be prone to moving when you go over bumps, which could also potentially cause it to hit your spokes. There is also no method provided for mounting the light vertically. It will sit at whatever angle your seatpost has, but because there are no lenses involved, the angle makes little difference to its visibility. At night the various solid or flashing modes are easily visible from expected distances. However in sunny daylight you can barely notice even a flashing pattern from more than about 200 meters away, so it's not really suited for daytime use on open roads where you are contending with motor vehicles.
This light is the best I’ve ever used. Long battery life, easy to operate even while riding, and you can’t beat the cool light designs! It comes with 3 sized bands to fit on just about anything!
Works well, lots of lighting options, lasts ok, need more fixing options for when bikepacking.
